Image conversion for manuscript publication

January 2021When university students have scientific articles published in a journal, there are some conditions attached to the images used in these files. To make it easy for these students to deliver these images correctly and consistently, Modiify was conceived
In an online portal users can upload their word document or a PDF. From these files all images are exported and converted to the correct formats, dpi and extensions. Then a compressed file can be downloaded with all the images found.
The portal runs on the Imagick library. There is a broad syntax for modifying images via PHP. This can also be carried out in bulk via PHP, which leads to short loading times and consistency in the result
First a simple portal was designed, then it will be developed into a Progressive Web App. This will likely be done in Symfony and Twig.
